John A. Epeneter, CPA/PFS, CFP®, CFS, CCPS, Master of Science in Financial Planning Since 2001 as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, John has worked with clients to prudently address and plan for life events, including saving for home purchases, paying for college without going broke, retirement with depeting resources, and managing portfolios with advanced tgechnology that assets in beating selected market benchmarks, while observing individual risk tolerances.
Since 1967 as a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT, John has had over 41 years of experience with all aspects of client services in the areas of tax return preparation, tax and business advice, estate planning, auditing, accounting, and preparation of many types of financial reports for startup and established closely-held businesses. John has also served as a fiduciary trustee for several clients and has represented taxpayers before the taxing authorities.John has a serviced a wide range of industries, including nonprofit organizations, software consulting and development firms, wholesalers, retailers, manufacturers, professional service firms, and high net worth individuals. John received his Master of Science degree, with honors, in financial planning from the College of Financial Planning, and his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Suffolk University after receiving his accounting associates degree from Bentley School of Accounting and Finance (now Bentley College). John was awarded the Silver Medal by the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants for second place on the November 1966 national CPA examination. John is also Personal Financial Specialist, the financial planning designation of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has also qualified for Certified Valuation Analyst, the business valuation designation of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts although he is not practicing at this time. He is a Certified Fund Specialist, a Registered Investment Advisor, and a Certified College Planning Specialist, a certification representing a specialized knowledge and experience in college planning. John knows that most clients have concerns about at least two things: their financial future and selecting the right advisor. Choosing a financial advisor with ethics and integrity is vital for clients in getting a sense of peace about their financial future. As a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, John is required to abide by the strictest of ethical standards, the main thrust of which is "putting the client first."

John and his wife Loretta live in Maynard, Massachusetts. They have two adult children, six grandchildren, and a black Pekinese dog.
